Observation of 2 Clark's grebe pairs courting (B. Andrews, pers. comm.). No evidence of breeding, however.

Comments:

Adults observed in courtship behavior and showed interest in vegetation for possible nesting but in late June, water was drawn down for irrigation and no suitable nesting habitat remained.

Comments:

One of 93 lakes, ponds, and reservoirs surveyed in CO. Not certain Barr Lake is a nesting lake. According to other entries, it's a possibility but no evidence entered.
