Comments:

In 1958 and 1959, the colony at the southwest side in tamarisk-edged cattail marsh was abandoned while the nests in the southeast side in cattail-bulrush grew. In 1960, water levels were below capacity, nesting habitat was not inundated with water, and grebes were present though no nesting occurred at the reservoirs in the Fort Collins region. Entered 0 as 1960 nest count.
