- This large shallow lake was drained in 2013 and filled in 2014. It is also very windy and subject to wave action, making the water very turbid.

Comments:
One of 93 lakes, ponds, and reservoirs surveyed in CO for 3 species of grebes. Not certain this is a breeding lake but this is a large number of grebes (>1300). Not sure if I should include. New lake maximum (1260) for Clark's grebes (Andrews and Righter 1992, Christopher Wood, pers. comm.).
