It is part of the Interlakes Region that includes other significant lakes such as Lake Winnipeg and Lake Winnipegosis. Lake Manitoba is very large and surveys were conducted for portions of the lake only. Clustered locations were compiled together but more distinct parts of the lake were entered as seperate entries. See individual entries for more details. This entry compiles individual entries for Lake Manitoba into one total entry for indexing purposes.
