- Comments:
- Warner Basin was once a giant deep lake. Water receded and left interconnected lakes such as Crump Lake, Anderson Lake, Hart Lake, Flagstaff Lake, and Blue Joint Lake. This is an important stopover site for migrating birds and is an Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) and a Conservation Opportunity Area (COA). The water is used for irrigation depending on year but if Hart Lake dries up, the rest of the valley is dry.
