Comments:

Different years have numbers for either adults and/or broods. Range of 1 to 3 chicks per brood is estimated if brood number is reported. Numbers for 2012 is confusing because 140 is number given but in comments "29, 34 broods", therefore assumed 29 adults plus 68 adults (2 adults per 34 broods) which equals 97 adults. Assuming the 140 includes chicks so 140 - 97 is 43 chicks. Regardles, the numbers are approximate. Observers were Nancy Drilling and SDBBA 2015. Nancy could not provide further clarification and said the numbers are just as is if not detailed. This is the Red Lake in Brule County.
