Comments:

Historic observation. This and other similar reservoirs in the region nest only when water is high enough to flood the emergent vegetation. In 1957 to 1959, water levels were favorable for nesting. However, in 1957 there was poor nesting success and 1958 nest success was better. In 1960, water levels were below capacity, nesting habitat was not inundated with water, and no nesting occurred at the reservoirs in the Fort Collins region. Entered 0 as 1960 nest count.
