Comments:

First documented nesting in Wisconsin, about 300 miles east from their known breeding range. Six of the adults (3 pairs) may be non-breeders but included in the count. Sudden water level rise due to precipitation did not seem to have an adverse effect on the nests nor egg success. Egg success considered high with these two nests.
