Donc la peinture à l’huile de Gaétan était extrêmement violente et ça m’a interpellé. On peut pas dire que ça m’a choqué, mais dans cette peinture, j’ai ressenti quelque chose de douloureux et quelque chose un cri. Moi c’était pas le cri, mais c’était quand même très symbolique.

00:00:04.490 –> 00:00:39.180 Hélène: Horrified? Maybe not, but. My father was a watercolorist. So you can see some touches of these paintings. So Gaétan’s oil painting was extremely violent and it spoke to me. You can’t say that it shocked me, but in this painting, I felt something painful and something like a scream. For me it wasn’t a scream, but it was still very symbolic.
